You should delete a Template if the object and its information is no longer pertinent in you affairs. Examples can include: canceled memberships and items/properties no longer owned.

When a Template is deactivated , the information about the object is retained, but the information is not being factored into your Assets and Liabilities Report; Ownership Maps; or Checklists.
