How Templates & Folders Work

There has been a 350% increase in the amount of information the average American consumes per day in the last 30 years. When you combine this trend with the fact that 75% of new information is forgotten about after 6 days without reinforcement, it becomes clear why we could use a little help organizing and communicating important information.

Kinnect was created to make it easy for families to communicate by providing useful tools that help us all manage our rapidly changing information on a daily basis. We want to make it as easy as possible for users to ensure their information is organized and easy to find when it’s needed by using our Smart Folders and Templates.

Smart Folders help users organize the different types of information they manage based on the type of information. The default categories are:

  • Home & Family
  • Personal
  • Financial
  • Legal
  • Medical
  • Insurance
  • Business
  • Other

Templates are optimized in each folder to make it easy for users to add and manage specific types of their information. There are 50+ forms available in the Vault with a wide range of capabilities, as well as generic forms to ensure all types of information fit into the system.

As a user, you have the ability to share both Smart Folders and the records inside of them on your own terms.
