What Templates are there?


Currently here are 12 categories of Templates in Kinnect, and additional ones are in design.  The 12 are listed below with examples of some of the most commonly used templates:

  • Account - An arrangement by which a person is given access to something they otherwise would not have, typically by using personal information.  e.g. Financial Institutions, Social Media, Cloud Storage, Email.

  • Asset - A thing with value that belongs to someone. e.g. House, Boat, Fixed Income/Fund Investment, Collectables, Jewlery

  • Contacts - Information needed to communicate with someone, typically in order to give or receive information e.g. contacts, staff

  • Device - a thing made or adapted for a particular purpose, especially a piece of mechanical or electronic equipment. e.g. Mobile Phone, External Hard Drive, Medical Device, Smart Watch, PC

  • Entities - Thing with distinct and independent existence e.g. Charitable Organizations, Trusts, LLCs, Partnerships

  • Financial Accounts - A bank account is a place where a person can deposit and withdraw funds, make payments, transfer money, make purchases, and hold investments. e.g Checking Account, Credit Cards, Investment Accounts, Paypal

  • Instructions - Detailed information telling how something should be done, operated, or assembled.  e.g. Caretaking Instructions, Evacuation Instructions, In Case of Emergency Instructions, Winterization Instructions,

  • Insurance Policy - a contract between the insurer and the policyholder, which determines the claims which the insurer is legally required to pay. In exchange for an initial payment, known as the premium, the insurer promises to pay for loss caused by perils covered under the policy language.  e,g. Property Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Umbrella Insurance

  • Liability - value that an entity is expected to deliver in the future to satisfy a present obligation arising from past events.  e.g. Commercial Equity Loan, Mortgage, Promissory Agreement, Commercial Line of Credit

  • Passwords - A set of unique identifiers–such as a username and password–that enables a user to verify identity in order to log in to an online account. ( Part of Security ???? )

  • Physical Location – a building, or other item that is used to store things. e.g. Storage Facility, Office File Cabinet, Garage, Go Bag, Lock Box

  • Record - a piece of written, printed, or electronic matter that provides information or evidence or that serves as an official record. e.g. Adoption Decree, Advanced Health Directive, Birth Certificate, Licenses, Last Will & Testament

  • Security - Security is protection from, or resilience against, potential harm caused by others e.g. Passwords, Security Codes, location of physical keys
